Rogue Romantic – Adelaide Fringe Review – 5 stars

Sassy, sexy, quirky and brilliant, this is must see, unique and inspired cabaret.

Anya Anastasia is a local artist who has spread her magic all over the world, winning awards, consistently obtaining 5 star reviews, sold out shows and the love and awe of showgoers.

Magnificently accompanied by a band of talented and cheeky musicians, Anya made a surprise entrance and from that moment she owned the audience. All were enthralled and totally under her spell.

Saucy and audacious, Anya took us through stories of relationships, lust and love, including some very clever and hilarious self-love. Her original songs are bold and witty, impossibly unpredictable and interspersed with humorous antics.

It feels a privilege to be given access to part of her inner world. That’s how believable and consummate a performer she is – we feel like we know her and share an exclusive bond.

Anya exhibits a star quality and aura reminiscent of a bygone era whilst being
edgy and contemporary. Her distinctive voice is alluring and captivating. Like everything Anya does, this show is note perfect, movement perfect, practised and planned to perfection, so that to us, it feels spontaneous, fluid and easy. We are the only ones she has performed for. This is a special show just for us.

This luscious show is refreshing, delectable and entertaining. Just like Anya herself! Don’t miss this one.
