Charlie Caper lives up to the show’s title ‘Magical’. If I wasn’t an adult or wasn’t trying to be rational, I’d be pretty confident in saying that he really does perform actual magic, such is the spellbinding atmosphere he creates and his indecipherable tricks.
Dictionary definitions of ‘magical’ include: “Beautiful or delightful in a way that seems removed from everyday life” and “Having special powers to make things happen that would usually be impossible.” Yep – Charlie Caper IS magical.
Charlie is well known now with Adelaide audiences and constantly he is applauded for his sleight of hand. It’s exceptional and his talent is astonishing. He didn’t win ‘Sweden’s Got Talent’ by chance.
This show has all the unique and special trademarks of a Charlie Caper show. We’ve come to expect bewildering tricks, robots, brilliant timing and showmanship, having a good laugh, many ‘shaking one’s head in astonishment’ moments and an all round good time. Once again Charlie delivers.

The tricks keep on coming throughout the show. Constant distractions and surprises, delivered at well timed, perfect and variable pace. Clever music and lighting effects add to the overall ambience.
I was not alone in having a smile on my face the whole hour. The audience was captivated, only breaking from laughter to gasp and spend a moment in stupefaction and reverence. This show is suitable for all ages, cultures, genders and sensitivities. Charlie has performed his award winning shows all over the world and in multiple languages. He is inclusive and caring, funny and entertaining, showcasing unparalleled talent. I highly recommend this show and spending an hour under the spell of the enigmatic Charlie Caper!
